Waiora Marae

Waiora marae is lòcated in Ngataki, between Te Kao and Houhora, about 50km north of Kaitaia.The restoration project included renovation and extension works to the existing Wharenui, Wharekai, ablutions and lobby areas.

Our Solutions

Willoughby Fire Solutions provided a 3D fire sprinkler design for the entire marae complex. Careful consideration was taken to conceal pipework in the Wharenui in order to not distract from the tukutuku panels installed throughout.
