Te Tahaawai Marae

Te Tahaawai marae is located on the upper reaches of the Whangaroa Harbour, east of the Northland township of Kaeo.The project consisted of new construction of the Wharenui, Wharekai, and toilet ablution block.

Our Solutions

Willoughby Fire Solutions provided a 3D fire sprinkler design for the Type 6 system to fully protect the entire premise. Careful consideration was taken to conceal pipework in the Wharenui in order to not distract from the tukutuku panels installed throughout.
